1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass quits any time

91 olds 3.1 6 cyl. Shuts off anytime or wont start you can drive it for miles sometimes other times it wont start in driveway. When it shuts off it may or maynot restart. Relays seem to be fine fuel pump and crank senser were replaced and there is fuel getting to the fuel rail. It dosent seem to be electrical

When the problem occurs, did you visually check for spark at the plugs? You can carry a known good spark plug or spark tester in the glove box. Then just pull a plug wire, stick tester in the boot. Ground tester to engine block, metal part. Watch for spark with engine cranking. Also when the problem occurs, do you have an injector pulse. If the computer doesn't see an rpm signal, engine cranking, it won't ground the injectors. Any applicable mil codes?
