Engine Mechanical problem
1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

ran fine before I replaced the starter and now it turns over but nothing there is fuel pressure and ive replaced the coil packs and tower

Did you check for spark? Will it start with starting fluid?

Check that the engine wire to the starter is connected. I can't remember the vehicle but it had a blue wire that went on the thread as well. I meant a small blue or purple wire.

Thanks for the information and you are right it sounds like a wire was left off of the starter and now there is no power to the ignition and other systems.
