Engine Performance problem
1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

STARTS FINE, RUNS FINE AFTER 10 MIN, CUTS OFF, RESTARTS THEN DIES, EVENTUALY CRANKS BUT WON'T TURNOVER. NO GAS FUMES BEING SMELLED EVEN IN TAILPIPE WHEN TRYING TO RESTART. NEXT DAY. STARTS FINE, THEN SAME ROUTINE. IGNITION CONTROL MODULE NOT PROB. CAN IT BE THE GAS CAP? MECHANIC SAYS FUEL'S NOT GETTING TO THE INJECTORS, BUT THEY DON'T KNOW WHY. NEW FUEL FILTER. NEW BATTERY. FUEL PUMP COMES ON. WHILE IN SEAT YOU CAN FEEL A SLIGHT THUMPING BEFORE 1ST STALL THROUGHOUT CAR THEN IT STALLS.

Had same problem. Bad fuel injector. Once injectors warm up they short out and one bad injector shorts out the rest. You can check injectors by ohming them out. The bad one will read way different.

Again, one bad injector distrupts all other injects once it gets warm.
