2002 Oldsmobile Bravada windshield wiper jerking

Hey guys! Quick question about my windshield wipers. When on the intermittent setting, the wipers go up and come down with a jerking motion. On low, high, and when using the windshield washers, they work just fine. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Wiper control board mounted on the wiper motor. The connector to the harness pulls down on the board and the connection fails. You can replace the board or repair the connection. To repair it you just remove the board, remove and re-solder the connection pins. I have done a bunch of them. I also move the harness some to take the stress off the connector.
