I changed the speed sensor and the speedomitor still will not work is there a 2nd sensor that I need to check

Did you replace the vehicle speed sensor or the wheel speed sensor? The VSS is what the speedo uses.

If the wiring to the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) and the VSS itself are good then suspect faulty wiring at instrument panel cluster (IPC) or faulty IPC itself.
