After sitting for awhile, my 2001 Bravada takes a long time to start (10-15 seconds of cranking time). I get in, turn the key, engine cranks and cranks and cranks before starting. If the car is warm, and has only been shut off for a few minutes, it will start right up. No check engine light, no fuel leak, and when it's running it drives normally, no sputtering hesitation or stalling. I suspect the fuel pump is going bad, as this is common, but should I be looking for something else?

Hi:
When was the last time you had the car tuned with new plugs, wires...

Regardless, yes it could be the pump loosing it's prime and allowing fuel pressure to drop. However, I would have fuel pum pressure checked, and ask them to watch for a loss of pressure over a 15 min span.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
