If I change out the throttle control sensor will this fix this problem
what does the MAP sensor do?

I am trying get answers to "rough idle" on a 1996 oldsmobile bravada
i have changed out the idle control sensor and that helped a little, I have put a complete tune-up except ignition coil, will changing out the throttle control sensor and the pick up coil help eliminate this problem, I also replaced the battery and air filter.
Also what about replacing the oxygen sensors?

What is the problem? Also, the MAP is a manifold absolute pressure sensor.

Before replacing everything, has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked for vacuum leaks?

NOTE: All of the things you mentioned could fix the problem, but the parts could still be good.

Let me know about the check engine light.
