1996 Oldsmobile Aurora PARKING BRAKE

I tried to change my rear brake pads and I noticed that the pads were touching the rotor already. I can feel it grindin and hear it squealing when I accelerate and brake. I set my parking brake once and the pedal came up when I released it but I can feell and see that its still engaged.

Hi:
There should be a slight drag on the wheel. It's normal. If they stop the car without touching the brakes, make sure the caliper slides are free and the pistons move freely.
