I had gotten about 200 feet from my house and my Alero just turned off completely and I could not turn it back on. It didn't even turn over. All the interior and exterior lights turn on and the radio comes on but I cannot roll the windows up at all. I checked through all the wiring and nothings exposed and I can't figure out whats wrong for the life of me. We had the passtime security device taken out a couple months ago because it was causing the car to not turn over but since then I haven't had any problems with it.

Check the battery and alternator. I would also check the crank position sensor, very common problem in oldsmobiles, I will show you how to check fuel and spark.
