2003 Oldsmobile Alero windsheild wipers

My wipers stop in the middle of the windshield. They work fine with the washer fluid. When on the low or high setting they stop in the middle. It does not happen all the time. The motor seems to be working fine and there are no unusual noises. What do you think the problem is.

There is a additional part that mounts to the top of the wipermodule. Im not sure what it is called but it you call your local dealer and thell them what the problem is, they can get you the part. Sorry I just can remember the name of it. If you call them let me know what the name of the part is
