1996 Oldsmobile 98 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

What is this tube attached to the blower motor called, what does it do and how do I attach it. I took this off and the smaller plastic tube inside it that was connected to the blower broke, so now I cant connect these two pieces.

This tube attached to the blower motor called "blower motor cooling tube"

it connected to blower housing. you need it on the blower if you have AC.(check your email for this diagram)
it cost around $ 6.50. (auto part or auto zone/.
take the remaining as seen in your pic , get a new one, it slide in the housing.(lubricate the end with engine oil to make it slid easily in the housing)
you will see when you get a new one, pretty easy.
