1991 Oldsmobile 98 flashing engine light

The car came to me for a bad harmmonic balencer, changed it and the cps senser. The car will start but after20 or 30 secons it will shot off, one thing I notice was the engine light flashing fast or like a fluter. Check pcu is good coil good control modual good also. Dont know what to check? Please put me on point

Have you checked for codes? Was crankshaft sensor adjusted with toolJ-37089 or equivelent?

I ADJUSTED THE CKP SENSOR WITH THE PROPER TOOL AND THE SYSTEM WOULD NOT READ OUT ANY CODES WHEN I HOOK IT UP TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE DOES CRANK UP, BUT CUT RIGHT BACK OFF UPON CRANKING. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND.
