1994 Oldsmobile 88 car will not turnover

My car will not turn over when I turn the ignition I have power to everything else I think. When I try the key nothing happens, when I leave the door open the chime doesnt come on. When I ra n a wire to the battery from the statyer direcectly the car would turn over but not start. Any suggections. I would greatly appreciate any and all help. Thank you in advance. J.T.

Hi, one possibility is your theft system? Check your trouble codes. If it has the pellet in the key, try wiping the pellet with a clean rag or, try a different key. Did you try to crank in neutral?

I can't bypass the theft module, if that is the problem?
