1994 Oldsmobile 88 brake light arent working

My brake light work when I am hitting the pedal, but when I just hit the switch for the lights, the brake lights arent coming on. U know wut the problem is?

Do you have a problem with the high mounted brake light? If not get the turn/hazard switch assy checked and tested the lower brake lites circuit goes thru it-also recheck the brake switch.
