1992 Oldsmobile 88 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I'm having a problem removing the balancer, the manual I have says nothing about a puller. Looking at the balancer it does not look like you could attach a puller to it anyway. Well my question is has anyone removed one of these before and do you need a special type of puller?Thanks tk32

Hello,

It is difficult to get off especially if it has never been off. You can use a pry bar and carefully pry one side a little then the other, once it starts moving you should be able to use your hands to finish removing it.
