1988 Oldsmobile 88 WILL NOT START.

1988 Oldsmobile 88 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

in the moring it will start right up, but after driveing it for about 30 min an turn it off it will not say boo. It has a new batter and stater. Had the alternator check it, s ok. If I let it set about four hours it will start back up.

If your saying the starter won't crank, did you try cranking in neutral?

Are the battery cables/wires all clean and tight? Can you tell if there is a load on the circuit, when you turn the key to crank? You can watch the headlites.

You can check for crank feed at the starter solenoid, purple wire, with the key in the crank position.
