My truck has been registered non op since 2004.
Last time it was driven was mid 2003. I did an oil change with new oil filter and was starting it and letting it idle for about ten minutes once a month for about five months until life took over. It has about quarter tank of fuel. I replaced the battery and tried to start it. It wants to start but no luck. The truck is park my drive way that has a slight incline. I by no mean am mechanically incline. With that said, point me in a direction to start with. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I am Danny.

If the gas has been in there for so long (years) old I have an idea for you. There is a gas additive called "Seafoam" gas additive you can get at any auto parts store. Add the whole bottle, Put in like five gallons of fresh gas, shake the back of truck for a few minutes with the Seafoam and new gas and it will start! I had this happen to six year old gas sitting in a Saturn and it worked. I have attached a picture of what the bottle looks like. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
