Just bought this car listed above SL model. Going to change oil but don't know what type, thickness it should be. Never had nothing this new or nice, so I'm trying to keep it that way. Doing everything the right way.
Thank you

Hi,

I attached the information from Nissan. However, they are calling for 0W-20.

Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks

You said however they recommend 0w. It sounded like you don't agree. Is there something about 0w that is bad? Also is that conventional or synthetic?

Sorry for the confusion. I attached the document but said "however" because I went ahead and told you what it was even though I attached it.

Nothing bad about 0W-20 at all. I don't even argue with what the OEM calls for because they are the one who have built the engine to run on that oil so I would not alter from it.

I believe 0W-20 only comes as synthetic. I have not seen a semi synthetic blend for this weight.
