Easy to get to it. Pop the trim cover off the engine. Now look on the passenger side of the engine near the pin that the trim cover snaps on. The oil temperature sensor is below it at the edge of the intake manifold. Has a two wire connector with brown/white and a violet/brown wires in it.

Which engine do you have? The above is for the 2.4 liter 4 cylinder, the 3.6 v6 sensor however is much harder to deal with as it is screwed into the oil cooler assembly that is under the intake manifolds. The book process has you remove the upper and lower intakes then change out the sensor. However there is a shortcut method that works. That is to use a deep socket on a long extension to slip between the intakes and the engine block, then you get it on the sensor and remove it, installing the replacement is about the same but you have to be very careful so you don't cross thread the sensor and cause a leak. This video shows both the pressure and the temperature sensors on the cooler and the shortcut method, the temp sensor can be a bear to get started because you can't easily see in the area, I usually put an inspection camera in place and use it to watch the sensor install.
