Chrysler calls for motor oil that meets MS-6395 SN requirements. I have a five quart of Chevron that just says meets/exceeds SN. Is this oil safe to use, even though it does not mention MS-6395?

Good morning.

Some oils meet the requirement and some do not. The one you are asking about does not. Go to a parts store and ask them for an oil that specifically says the MS 6395.
