Is there a filter with this model? I have the sending unit off and cannot find a filter, went 3" down with no luck

Hi,
What are you trying to locate? Is it the oil filter or the oil sending unit?
The sending unit is at the rear of the engine behind the intake manifold. See pic 1
The oil filter is on the left side of the oil pan at the rear of the engine. See pic 2.
