My engine was leaking a massive amount of oil and it was traced to the back of the engine and the oil pressure sensor (sending unit). After I replaced the sensor, I noticed that 2 of the 3 wires were missing from the connector. The connector (pig tail) is very short and located at the back of the engine, just under the firewall. It is very hard to put both hands on it at the same time. Is there a way to splice in a new connector without removing the distributor? What are the colors of the three wires?

Yes, you can get a wiring pigtail which can be spliced on it looks like there is only one wire going to the sender, tan wire. The connector has four places for wires but only one is used, I hops this helps. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
