Oil pressure gauge reading low

Pressure gauge show normal reading when gold started after warm up reading gradually fall to a low at acceleration dial move to normal then falls at idle and I started to hear the lifters ticking.

The oil pump may be on its way out, you will have to have an oil pressure test done by a technician. It is very important to have the correct oil pressure, the ticking is the upper valve train (hydraulic lifters, rocker arms, valves) because of low oil pressure. Have the pressure test done as soon as possible. Check your oil level also, make sure you are not low.
