Hi,

This isn't a fun job, but it can be done at home. You will need to lift the front of the vehicle so you have clearance.

Now, the directions are specific but may seem vague to you. Feel free to ask me questions if you don't understand something.

Hi Joe,

One of the main questions I had is it possible to remove the pan without dropping exhaust? Because it has been welded together where the 2 bolt flange was at the catalytic converter and flex pipe flanges! So without cutting the exhaust It would be hard to drop the exhaust? I actually am a retired mechanic and this is a second car I am trying to get some more time out of because I have put too much money in it in the past. Thanks for your help. If you have any more info let me know.

I have to be honest, if you don't drop the exhaust, I don't think there is enough room to get it off. The pump is in the way. Are you able to unbolt it at the manifolds? I attached a pic. Do you have it welded at to the manifold?

Hi again Joe,

It is not welded at the manifold so I will have to see if I can get the nuts loose. Thanks a lot for your help.
