When changing that oil pan gasket do I need to use black RTV on the corners?

Does it go before the gasket is on or after an on top or both?
Any tips to get inside pan to get a few pieces of gasket out? I got engine jacked up and mounts off but can't get hand in far enough.
Maybe remove exhaust or transmission overdrive hold bolts?
I just want it enough to turn pan some so hand can get to bottom of pan.
And what is the torque? 18ft?

Got it open enough to get in.
I'm ready to put gasket on once I know on the RTV application and torque.
Thanks

Yes. You do need to use silicone in each corner, but I attached the instructions for your review.

As for the black silicone, that will be fine. Just make sure you read the instructions on it. I believe it requires about an hour to set up and then you torque the pan and then you let it sit for 24 hours.

Take a look at this info and let me know if you need more info.

Thanks
