The oil pan is leaking into exhaust pipe. How do I clean the oil off the exhaust pipe?

Hi,

Anytime I have oil on an exhaust component, I wait until it's cool and then spray it off with brake cleaner. It evaporates fast and cleans really well. Once you spray it, simply wipe it off. However, don't do this when the exhaust is hot.

As far as the oil pan, if you provide the engine size and let me know if it is 2wd or 4wd, I would be happy to help you get that fixed. Also, are you sure it's the oil pan? Often times, a valve cover will leak and run onto the exhaust manifold.

Let me know.

Take care,
Joe
