Oil level question

I understand that as long as the oil is between the low and full marks on the dipstick that is acceptable. Is more oil better? Is it better to have it closer to full?

Good evening,

It is ideal to have it at the full mark.

The fact that you are between the lines is good. When it gets to the quart line, then add the necessary oil to bring it up to level.
