Replaced engine valve cover, new seal new bolts. Now there is oil leaking through cover running down the car to the floor.

Can you get some pictures of where the leak is coming from? Clearly if the valve cover is leaking then either the valve cover is bent and not sealing or it was not tightened to spec allowing the cover to continue to leak.

So let's start with some pictures but we most likely will need to remove the cover again and ensure it is not bent. Thanks

Two threads have gone on the head but the oil leak started before they went. How much do you reckon it would cost for someone to repair this and fix leak? As I've never had anything like this before. Thanks

Okay. Which two threads are stripped out? Can you get a picture of the head and point to them or at least call them out?

As for how much it is to fix it, that depends on what the cause is. Let's try to figure out why it is leaking and go from there. Lastly do you have a picture of where the oil is actually leaking?
