Possible blown head gasket?

I drained the oil on my vehicle and it smells like a two stroke engine and looks brownish. after that I checked the coolant reservoir and radiator cap and it's still the same old dexcool color.
If my vehicle's head gasket is blown wouldn't I get oil in my coolant?

You can get them mixed with each other or one in the other. So we need to test the head gasket to start. Here is a guide that will help with this:
