Oil filter number needed

2003 SATURN VUE
69,000 MILES • 2.2L • 4 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

So I went to Walmart the other day to buy the oil filter and oil for the car, but when looking up the part number for the Vue it was only giving me cartridges as replacements and not an actual metal oil filter. Is that correct for a 2003 Vue?

Good afternoon.

That is correct. It is a cartridge filter. There is a cap on the cartridge and you remove it and the oil filter pulls out.

Thank you so much Roy, the diagram was really helpful. I have never dealt with just a cartridge before. I am used to my oil filters in canisters.
