I replaced my plastic housing with an aluminum upgraded part. However when I installed it I am still experiencing a leak. I have cleaned out and off everything connected(intake, connections to housing) three times to no avail. Please help this is my only vehicle that I use to make money for my family!

Yep, these engine like to leak but we can fix it, on the oil filter adapter gasket, the lower gasket sits on a slightly raised ridge, and it loves to slip or pinch during installation so I would double check that and the oil filter gasket as well. Also, please check the oil pressure switch, this is other common place for the oil to leak. Oil leaking from the base of the housing (not the top)

1. A bead of oil along the engine valley
2. Slow drips behind the alternator

If so remove, clean, reinstall with a new gasket and a very light film of engine oil so the gasket doesn't bind. The 3.6L has a PCV diaphragm that cracks and leaks oil fumes and mist, which run down the block and collect in the valley. After a cooler replacement, people mistake this for the cooler leaking again. Cheap fix $40 OEM only. Please upload an image or short a video in your response of the problem, so we can see what's going on.
