My car is losing engine oil with no sign of leak anywhere and even no sign of smoke. Engine runs very smooth. I put 5w 30 for 10,000 kms and my car has not crossed 4,000 kms. I can see on dipstick I lose around two liters of oil. What is causing my car to have too much oil consumption? And there is no warning light showing on dash.

Good afternoon.

From the sounds of your issue, if you have no external leaks then it is most likely worn piston rings not controlling oil consumption.

As I said sir there is no white smoke coming out from exhaust no oil thing in exhaust. But any how is there anyway to control oil consumption rather then doing expensive repair and what is PCV valve if it is faulty will my car also consume too much oil?

It does not have to smoke to use oil. The oil can be consumed by the catalytic converter and not produce any smoke.

If the PCV was bad, you would have a code set for lean mixture.

The only other alternative is to have the rings replaced or just add oil as needed.

Sir, I do have mass air flow code even after replacing it with new one the code return back. Does this have to do anything with PCV to consume oil?

No, it does not. That has to with fuel control only.

My car does not smoke running smooth it is very hot now here 43c and the car oil lose is a lot. I did notice before oil change there is a leak between engine and transmission where they join together I added 5 w 30 oil for 10,000km and now my car is driven 3,000km and 2L oil is gone so my question is can engine oil can be leak through engine and transmission where they join together? I check myself every where there is no smoke and no other place leaking.
