Odometer stays on

I just changed my heater core and the o my issue I am having now is that my miles light and my PRND light stays in 24/7 and I do not know why.

Since you were working under the dash, it sounds like you shorted a hot wire to the mentioned components. Check for wiring issues where you were working. Make sure none of the wires were accidentally pinched between components you removed and replaced. Also, make sure there are no wires with the insulation scraped off.

When looking, the transmission range sensor is powered by a brown wire with a light green tracer on it. Try to locate that and check for interference from prior work.
