I have a problem with the shifting of my transmission. Today I placed my car on a diagnostic handheld and the following codes came up: P0700, P0732, P0733, P0734, P0736, P1790, P0944, and P871. Can you assist me please by cracking the above listed codes? Thanks

Start with your basic checks first. Check fuse #9 20AMP in engine compartment. Verify power is going through with a test light. Here is a link to fuse testing.

If okay swap the transmission relay with another relay that looks like it like the air conditioner clutch relay or something that wont effect starting. Once you swap out the relay reset codes and road test. If okay order a new relay. If still the same problem then you will need to take it in to a transmission shop for proper diagnostic.
