O2 sensor replacement procedure needed?

Hi there, I need help with how to take off the bank 2 sensor 2 O2 sensor underneath the car. Also, how can I test the zO2 sensor before I replace it?

Hi,

The easiest way to test it is while it is still in the vehicle. Using a live data scan tool, you can watch how it reacts while the engine is running. The voltage should be between 0 and 1.0 mv. If you hit the throttle hard, you should see it react.

Hi Joe, thank you for the response. I went to take a look at the sensor, but one thing is missing, what do I need to take off to get to it? Do you have a step-by-step procedure from the manufacturer on how to take it off?

The size is 7/8 so you can clip the wires off and use a deep well socket, I would spray wd40 and let is sit for a few hours. Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
