My CEL is on, and I believe it to be bank 1 O2 sensor. I would like to change all the O2 sensors, could you tell me how many there are and the location? Thank you

Hi,

The one in the exhaust manifold will be bank 1 sensor 1. Below the catalytic converter is bank 1 sensor 2. (See pic below).

Here is a guide to help you change the sensor out step by step with diagrams below to show you on your car:

Please let me know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Take care,

Joe

Thank you for the reply! Another question, I replaced the thermostat due to several coolant related codes. All the codes cleared and have not returned, engine temperature gauge never gets above half, but the two coolant fans are not coming on. Side note, the A/C does not work due to what I think is a faulty compressor not sure if this has any bearing or not.

Hi,

I have a favor to ask. We try to keep the threads specific to one topic. That way, it is more helpful to others. Could you copy and paste your new question to a new post?

Here is the link for a new post:

I really hope you understand. Also, if the temp gauge doesn't go past 1/2 way, the fans may not be signaled to turn on because it isn't hot enough.

Let me know. I will watch for your new post. And again, I hope you understand.

Take care,

Joe
