Overdrive light flashing and low range light on

O/d light and low range light came on started to shift funny. Changed fluid and filter no change. Replaced VSS sensor and speed sensor still light flashing and long shifts. Anything else I could try?

Hi,

If you replaced the sensor and there is no change, before spending any more money, have the can-bus scanned for codes. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all the different computers/modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

Let me know if this is something you can have done. I can understand the shifting issue if the OD light is flashing, but the 4lo is interesting.

Okay, I will get it scanned I have shifted the 4 wheel drive selector in and out and can hear it going in and out so do believe it is in 4 low just figured it may indicate what issue is.

Hi,

If it is in 4low, the vehicle's top speed will be around 30 MPH. Is that what you are experiencing?
