Not starting

Car wont start bought new battery but wont even click over now no lights or sounds and gages are stuck on 120mph and 8rpms

The first thing to check is to follow the smaller positive battery wire to the under-hood fuse box and be sure that connection is clean and tight. Next, follow the smaller negative wire to the body and be sure that one isn't rusty.
