I had done an engine swap and went from a 240 to 300, but I put the 240 ignition parts and carburetor on the 300. Now the engine will only run on full throttle and full choke. Unsure what to do as I am not great with how carburetors fully work. Thanks

Good morning.

When you have to run on full choke, that is an indication of carburetor issue.

You most likely will need to either have that one rebuilt or get a replacement carburetor. Not enough fuel is getting into the engine from the carburetor. That is why you have to full choke the carburetor.

You are welcome.

Found a carburetor for you. Not expensive at all.
