Yep it sounds like maybe the ignition switch gave up the ghost you can try spraying a bit of wd40 in the lock next to the key so it flows inside and try turning it back to the of position and actually try pushing the key in not out while you try to turn it in bothe directions but mainly twards the off position if you get it to move in any direction keep moving it pushing then turn and pull out now keep doing it till the oil seems into the lock dealer and dealer srey a little more after a few mins try everything seeping on the brake moving the shift lever and move the steering wheel slightly left then right and so on you can also tep the end of the key with a screwdriver. Good luck

Can I ask if any of the light come on like the interior lights or headlamps? If you can upload a short video of the problem it will help us fix it. It sounds like to me that the ignition switch node has gone bad which is common. You will need to remove the dashboard to get to it, here is how. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes

I found out what happened. Gear shifter was not all the way in park, it started right up. Thats why there was no power for start up and key was stuck. : ) Thanks for the help and God bless you. You mentioned jiggling the key and checking to see if it was completely in park, Bravo
