Due to start of noise and after inspection of harmonic balancer. I have changed harmonic balancer out due to the center partly blown out of it. Hoping that was all the noise was but still makes noise I also am waiting on belt tension-er to come in due to fact its bouncing all over the place on truck. I have also ordered idler due to bearing being dry sounding. With belt on truck sounds like crap at idle but give it some pedal and it goes away. If you take the belt off all together and start the truck at idle it doesn't even make the sound is the any thing else it could be that I might be missing pleases help thank you

It could be a water pump, alternator, a/c compressor, ect. Try spinning all of the pulleys with the belt off and listen for noise and feel for roughness.

It sounds to me that you should see a lot of improvement once the other parts are replaced. I sincerely recommend a new belt as well if its not already new or very recent. If the noise persists, take the belt back off and rotate the remaining pulleys to find the culprit. Don't forget to spin and wiggle the radiator fan if its belt driven too.

I did get new belt also I have it in hand still waiting on other parts but I did buy the tensioner and the idler for the start and from what I was told this water pump has a lifetime warranty on it and as does the alternator so if its one of them it wont hurt so bad but thank you for the info
