Started with the car not starting, got new battery, new alternator, new coil packs, new camshaft position sensors, and new spark plugs, still needs to be jumped to start. Prior to the replacements while I was driving, I would hear a sound much like putting a playing card in the spokes of a bike tire, and as soon as that noise started the car would shut off. After the replacements of above parts, it now doesn’t shut off while being driven, but the noise is still there and is constant and has gotten louder.

It sounds like you have an exhaust leak but for problem like this we need to have a short video of the noise, so we have an idea what to look for. Also, please start a new thread for the jump start issue. Can you tell if the noise is from the front of the engine or is it on the left or right side?

Here is a guide on engine noises in the meantime:

Please go over this guide and get back to us.

It is definitely not an exhaust issue. When I get home from work, I will record the noise and send it.

That would be great, it is hard to tell noises over the internet unless I have a recording. I have seen a lose spark plug cause this kind of noise as well.

It sounds like you have an engine mount that needs to be replaced, most of the times it will be the torque mount, but you should inspect them all, thanks for the video it helped. If you need help with the engine mount inspection, please upload a video. Check out the images (below).

So I read some of the engine noise links you provided and I went outside and removed the serpentine belt and started the car put a foot on the brake, put the car in drive and rev’d the engine the noise isn’t there. The serpentine belt tensioner pulley has some play to it so I ordered a new one, will replace it tomorrow and hope for the best, I guess.

Thanks for going over the guide. Nice work, if the tensioner is bad, it will make this noise as well, here is how to change it out. Check out the images (below).
