Noise after I make a turn

It all started when I was making a left turn and then a noise started and then it stays after a good while. Starts back up again after being stopped at a red light. Rack and pinon or power steering?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

There are a few things which can cause a noise. Can you describe the noise or upload an audio clip so I can hear it?

The things I would suggest checking are as follow. Keep in mind, I don't know what it sounds like, so I am going to mention different things.

Check power steering fluid
Check belt condition
Check for leaks under the vehicle
Check axle and CV joints.
Check hub bearings
Check brakes
