No crank no start?

Yesterday after driving back from my family house, I came inside for a few hours and when I came back out to start the car, the brake pedal is extremely hard and stiff and it won’t start even though I still tried to all is did was make a power drill noise for a few seconds then stopped nothing else happens my lights and stuff works gauges.

Car has 186,000 miles not 18,600.

Yep, this happens when the battery goes bad which is common, I would remove the battery and take it to the auto parts store for testing.
