Hello, I have a big problem with my car. After I have a accident my car does not start anymore. The engine crank but no start. I have send the restraint control module to reset, I fix it back. But nothing. The fuel pump from the tank is working fine. I called a mechanic and he said is the starter motor. I have changed. Another one came and read the codes and told me is the camshaft sensor. I have changed the sensor and nothing. The engine crank but no action. Now I have this trouble codes B10A2-36, B10A2-32 and U0151-08. I didn't put new airbags yet. What I can do? Please help me. Thanks

Hi,

I looked up the codes you found and see they are all related to a break down in the CAN communication system. CAN stands for computer area network. Based on the codes, I feel the issue is related to the restraint control module's inability to communicate with the engine control module (ECM) . The module is in the rear of the center console. See pic 4.

What I suggest is to first check to make sure there is nothing disconnected or loose. I have no idea how bad the accident was, but make sure all wiring is still intact.

Let me know what you find. Also, if possible have the CAN bus system scanned. Here is a quick video that shows how it's done. Also, this procedure is mentioned in pic 3 as a means to locate the break down in communication.

Let me know.

Hi,

The codes you have are very vague simply because there are many different components associated with them in the CAN system. Take a look at the two pics and you will see what I am saying. If you do get your hands on a CAN scan tool, it will indicate where the break down is within the network.

Pic 1 is relevant to a U2100-00 and pic 2 is relevant for a U3000-49.

Let me know.
