Hi, I had a mate change water pump car was running before this, now will not star, t not sure why. I am trying to kick it over but wont had to cut plastic that covers timing belt, but he said it is not that. I have five kids really need help thanks.

How did it run before the water pump was changed? The timing could be off.

Was running fine disinterested even know water pump was gone someone suggested to me that maybe small piece of plastic could have put timing off. Friend seems to think something with the diesel not getting through cannot get in to see if it is the timing yet. Thinking of getting a mobile mechanic out to check just so expensive, hoping it is something small. Also, mate dropped spanner on battery and it sparked could this have done something?

Yes, that could have blew fuses. Sometimes friends helping can cost more then paying a professional to do it. So you live in Europe?

Which fuses do you think would blow? We could not get the ones out in the engine.

Unfortunately I have no resources/repair manual information for cars sold outside of the USA. We have been trying to find a source, but no luck so far. So the fuses in the engine compartment are melted in and wont come out?

Sorry to be a pain, but do you know how to get the fuses out of this car in the engine part? They wont come out by pulling them. Seem stuck.
