We changed a water pump on the car and we under the impression that we got the timing right as per car spec, however there is now no spark on the car. When we changed the water pump car was driving but when its warm it would sometimes cut off which tells me from my previous experience that the crank positioning sensor may be faulty. I am not sure if this vehicle has the crank sensor and I only saw the oil pressure switch on the car.

1. Does this car have a crank sensor and where is it located.
2. Please show a picture if possible.

Yes if there is a crankshaft sensor it will be on the bell housing of the transmission.

Please let us know what happens.

Best, Ken
