I am rebuilding after it had a fire in the engine compartment. I have got everything done except for I do not have the throttle positioning sensor wire as of yet. Does that have to be wired for the car to start?

Good afternoon.

Yes it does. All the wiring needs to be in place for it to go.

Did you replace the harness?

No I did not, but I replaces most of the connectors. I have a scan tool and it seams to be communicating. So I believe the PCM is okay. I am waiting for the TPS connector to come in mail. It is the last one to replace I am just not 100%s ure how to wire it. Got any insight? I spliced a lot of wires one at a time.
