So I had the truck running. But it was a little out of time. Now it’s turning over too slow. Replaced starter, new battery, and solenoid and also have the plugs out. Not sure what to do now. Still turns over slow.

Okay, use a voltmeter and test the voltage while someone cranks it. Tell me the voltage.

Okay. Gotta find a voltmeter somewhere because I don’t have one. I’ll reply when I test it.

So I borrowed one from a buddy and when he hit the key the voltage dropped to around 8.5.

Not good.

I would clean the cables real good both inside and outside and retest.

Is the battery voltage 12.6 with the engine off?

12.2, but that should be plenty I think. New terminals too but I’ll redo them and try it out.

12.2 is only 35% of battery capacity. Charge the battery to 12.6 volts and retry.

I pull started the truck and it fired up as long as I gave it some throttle. But the back of the intake is building up condensation on it and is actually feeling really cold when the motor is running.

One thing at a time.

Did you charge the battery and retest the starting?
