can't get the power to the ignition switch?

To break this scenario down buddy lost his keys tried putting a push button start in the 08 ford escape xlt V6 found his keys and I'm left with putting back to the way it normally would be starting it with the key and I can't seem to get the power to the ignition switch so what actually gives or gives the ignition power

The main power for the ignition switch comes in on the blu/red wire from the fuse #f27 in the fuse panel below the center of the dash. Here is the full wiring diagrams so you can see how the wires should go. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes

Okay so I'm still getting nothing everything checks out fuses relays the reset on a lower kick panel on a passenger side I still turn the switch and all I have is a stash lights nothing but if I get out there and and hit the solenoid with screwdriver she turns over but I get nothing it just turns and turns even hitting it with either what's my next step what do I do next

Yep, you found the problem the starter motor is bad which is common. To be sure you can have a helper put the key to the crank position and see if the trigger wire is getting power and if so the starter is bad, here is a video that can help you test.
